Principal's Message

PS10, a neighborhood school, is an active community of collaborative thinkers who are preparing students to become productive citizens and life-long learners. We are committed to a whole-child centered education that encourages each child to reach high academic goals while developing an interest in the Arts and Sciences. In addition, we strive to motivate every PS 10 student to create their own goals so that they may experience both academic and social success.
We are proud of our diverse school community: Staff members, administrators, parents and students share their own unique set of skills and beliefs which contribute to learning experiences that are genuinely meaningful and fun. We recognize that each child learns differently, so we work hard to plan, teach, and use the best practices to enrich and support our inquiry based curriculum. We strive to foster curiosity and a love of learning, so that when our students graduate they are prepared to take on the world.
