School Admissions
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION FOR FALL 2020
Please be advised that the online application period for Fall 2020 Kindergarten is now closed. All families who applied by the deadline will receive a kindergarten offer in April. Go to the DOE website’s Kindergarten page to learn more about Kindergarten Admissions and to view the 2020 Kindergarten Admissions Guide.
Our school tours and open houses for prospective parents are held prior to the kindergarten application close date. There are no more dates scheduled for the 2019-2020 school year. However, we will try to accommodate individual requests for tours. Please contact our parent coordinator Madeline Seide at mseide@ps10.org for more information.
NEW ARRIVALS/GRADES 1 -5
For new families planning to enroll their children in Grades 1 – 5 or families who arrive over the summer for the 2020 – 2021 school year, email our Pupil Accounting Secretary Danny DePaz at ddepaz@ps10.org.
For families who are planning to move to our zone and wish to enroll their child for the current school year, please contact our Parent Coordinator Madeline Seide and/or Pupil Accouting Secretary Danny DePaz in advance of your move. You can call our main office to schedule an appointment once you have arrived. We are not able to register students without proof of residence at an address zoned for our school. We enroll all zoned students in grades 1 – 5; we do not have a waitlist for in-zone students in those grades.
We will need the following documents in order to complete your child’s registration:
- 2 proofs of address in the form of utility bills (Con Edison and National Grid)*
- Birth Certificate or Passport and your child’s immunization records
- Report card
